Manuela Schmidt: a little girl following her dreams
I was impressed with this little Brazilian Girl when one of her teachers, César Lima (here pictured with his wife and also teacher, Silvia Caminada) told me her story… These long-time friends are the kind of persons who never exaggerate when telling stories, much on the contrary. She lives in Volta Redonda, very far from Rio de Janeiro, and once a week she travels to Rio a route that can take up to four hours, from door to door, to follow her dream: Ballet. Classes… I asked about her because I wanted to know who she was. Her face expression is something that we call “sapeca” in Portuguese, which means “naughty” but in a very kind and lovely way…
God bless such young determination and love for the Art!
Bravo, Manuela Schmidt!
